  1. Good morning,

I read the article you wrote about your step son. I am so sorry. Life always seems to give us unexpected curves, but you seem to be handling it very well. By writing the article you expressed your feelings, explained how you dealt with it and probably helped someone else deal with a tragedy. I come from a small tight knit community. So I know what you mean by having their support. I hope that your article helps others appreciate their community.

I also read the article that followed about being ‘proud’. I believe this article should be read in every classroom in the country. Pride seems to be lacking in the younger generation, I believe it is not emphasized enough. Younger people seem to think that we have too much ‘pride’. I believe not. This article was great and inspiring.

Keep up the good work, I really enjoy reading your articles.

You may not remember me, but I was at a “Minutes Taking’ seminar in Timmins, ON (the only one that had taken Pitman Shorthand). I am glad I met you as it makes reading your articles that much more pleasurable. Take care,

    Louise
